Two guides. One home region.
Some partnerships you chase. This one arrived by email.
Felix Navarro Bo of Revolta Cycling Tours wrote to me about building a small-group tour together in the region where he grew up riding. I did my homework — license, insurance, references — and everything checked out. Then we talked, and the fit was obvious: he designs and guides trips on his home roads in Catalonia, and I fill the roster, host the trip, and take care of my riders from first email to farewell dinner.
He knows every road. My riders trust me. That's the whole idea.
Revolta handles everything on the ground in Spain — routes, support, local flavor. Pumped Adventures handles booking, payments in US dollars, and the standard you're used to from my trips. One week, one group, one seamless trip.
Quiet roads. Real Spain.
Terres de l'Ebre is the quiet south of Catalonia — where the Ebro River runs to the Mediterranean through rice fields and mountain country. The tour buses haven't found it. We're keeping it that way.
We're finalizing the day-by-day itinerary now, so here's the shape of the week rather than the schedule:
The Riding
Empty, well-paved backroads — river valley, rice plains, and climbs into the mountains, with the Mediterranean close enough to taste the salt. Road routes lead; a gravel option is on the table and we're weighing it.
The Region
Terres de l'Ebre: the Ebro River, hilltop villages, and a working food culture most tourists never see. Felix grew up riding these roads and guides them personally.
The Size
Six to eight riders, small on purpose. A boutique week where everyone knows your name by the first morning — the same format that makes my Paso weekends work.
The Table
Catalan cooking, local wine, and long lunches the way Spain does them. This is a riding holiday that doesn't rush the meal.
One booking. Two teams.
Led By Locals, Hosted By Me
Felix guides his home region with full local support. I ride along as host and tour leader — the same voice you know from my trips and the Great Divide.
Small By Design
A boutique field that keeps the roads quiet, the tables full, and the experience personal. Bike rental in Spain can be arranged — details when you're in.
One Point Of Contact
You book and pay in US dollars through Pumped Adventures. Everything on the ground in Spain is handled by Revolta. No foreign checkout forms, no juggling two operators.
Eight spots. Fall 2027.
We're finalizing the partnership agreement now. Exact dates and pricing go to my 2027 interest list first — before anything goes public. If a week in Catalonia sounds like your kind of trip, get on the list.
