We’ll meet at Hotel (TBD) near Fisherman’s Wharf. We’ll take time to get our bikes together, have our first rider’s meeting to go over our expectations for the week, discuss the next day’s plan and have our welcome dinner.

This morning we will ride in the van from San Francisco to our hotel in Eureka, CA. It should be about a 5 hour drive so we’ll be there in plenty of time to do a little exploring. Stay at the Eureka Inn.

Today’s ride will take us down the coast to the historic town of Ferndale, CA before we enter The Avenue of the Giants where we will get our first experience riding in the redwoods. We’ll be finishing our ride in the small town of Myers Flat, CA. - Camping

On day 2, we will continue south on the Avenue of the Giants and our ride through the redwoods. We pass through Garberville, CA on our way to Leggett, CA where we’ll be staying for the night. - Camping

On this day we will be heading to the coast, but there will be some significant climbing to be done first. After arriving at the coast, we will continue south through Fort Bragg, CA before we reach Mendocino, CA our destination for the night. - Camping

Day 4 will be entirely on the coast. We will ride through several small beach towns and you can make a small detour out to visit the Point Arena Lighthouse. We will be staying in the town of Jenner, CA - Camping

As we continue south along the coast, we will pass Sea Ranch and Fort Ross a historic Russian era fort. We will be overnighting in Bodega Bay, CA. We’ll make sure to watch out for “The Birds” while we’re there! Olema, CA - Camping

On our last day of riding, we’ll be leaving Bodega Bay, and continuing south on Highway 1 to Point Reyes Station where we will ride the last bit of Highway 1. After checking out Point Reyes, we will be crossing over the mountains to visit Sausalito, CA before crossing the Golden Gate Bridge to culminate our adventure back were we started in San Francisco. We’ll have our last dinner together before leaving the next day. - Hotel TBD
